I have been needing a new purse, and I found this free pattern and decided to try making my own. I found fabric late one night at Walmart in the marked-down scraps. The outer fabric is canvas, and the lining is flannel. Overall I am happy with how it turned out. It is smaller than I was expecting, so I haven't decided if I will switch over to using it. I can fit my wallet into it, but do not think I can fit the other things I currently have in my purse. I also have not decided if I should add the tab with buttons.

That looks really cute. Maybe it could be the small purse you bring on quick errands whenever you get away without any kids along!
