What's Going to Work? Teamwork!

Last Tuesday at Preschool the theme was Teamwork and Unity. Caleb did not tell me much about what they did, but yesterday I heard him say, "What's going to work? Teamwork!" I love Caleb's Preschool/Joy School because it is hosted by the mothers of the kids. We meet once a week for two hours. We have met together twice to decide what we will try to teach the kids. Caleb really enjoys it and it is fun for me to feel more involved in teaching him things that are really important that he might not get in other formal schooling settings, such as honesty or reverence.

Last night Caleb and Parker were getting along so well as we got ready for bed. They thought of a new way to get their dirty clothes to the laundry basket in my bathroom. Caleb spread his blanket on the floor, and had Parker get on with the dirty clothes. Caleb gave Parker a blanket ride to the bathroom where they unloaded the clothes. Then Parker got to ride back to the boys' bedroom. They were having great fun together!
