Parker had a party with his friends. Here he is counting his money from his grandparents while sitting on his favorite present, a pillow pet. He has been asking for a pillow pet for months. We had a Star Wars party where we played pin the light saber on the Jedi, Star Wars Bingo, Musical chairs to Star Wars music, 4 corners where each corner of the room was a different Star Wars place, had a treasure hunt to find goody bags, found asteroids (candy wrapped in foil), played with light sabers made from pool noodles, ate cake and Yoda Soda (lime sherbet with lemon lime soda), and ran around crazy.
I just love the preparation!
Parker was excited to help bake, frost, and decorate his cake. When I asked what shape of cake he wanted, he said he wanted the shape that has corners so that he could put a candle in the middle and each of the corners.
