Getting there

Bedroom one - destined to become a play room for the kids.
Bedroom one with closet view. The built in shelves might be my favorite part of the basement. Caleb's new craft projects have found a home.

Bedroom 2

The basement is finished, except for the carpet. We thought we had carpet picked out, but it did not work out. We are still looking. It is crazy looking for carpet. Every store prices things differently which makes it hard to compare from store to store. Some stores include information on carpet such as face weight, density, and twists; while other stores have to call the carpet mill just to get that information. Some stores are having free labor sales right now, but carpet prices seem higher. It is very confusing, and slightly frustrating. We got a babysitter on Friday to go and look at carpet.

I love the built in shelves, too. It looks great. What's the plan for bedroom 2?
Thanks for the photos.

When we picked the carpeting for our house we found it was frustrating as well. We decided to go with a lower grade of carpet but with a upgraded pad. The carpet still withstands the traffic, and Shawn's greasy tracks, but yet its comfortable to sit on and walk on. People always ask if we picked a higher end carpet.

Looks Great! And smart idea to get a babysitter. It's hard enough looking at carpet without having to keep track of kids running around :)
