We got a new pool for the kids to play in on the back patio. Parker absolutely loves it! He has changed his mind about swim lessons and now tells me that he wants to go swimming. I think he is a little sad when Caleb gets to go play in the water and he has to sit on the side. We got the pool on Tuesday on the way home from swim lessons. When we got home the boys ran over to invite a neighbor boy to play. Parker could hardly wait to get in the pool. The neighbor went home to get his swim trunks on and the boys had a great time. Today when we got home from swim lessons Parker really wanted to go swimming. There were some dark clouds in the sky, but Caleb and Parker played in the water for about an hour before lunch. 
Tuesday I put Alyssa in the pool and she started to cry. I don't know if it was the three wild boys in the pool, how deep the water was, or if it was just too cold. She was happy to sit and play in the little bit of water on the patio. Today she slept the whole time the boys were outside.
Alyssa is getting better at standing up on her own. She likes to stand and play by this toy that the neighbors gave her. She stood there today for about ten minutes on her own before she fell down. She has also had her first two teeth come in. It seemed to cause her some distress, but she seems to be feeling better now.
