Happy Halloween!

Alyssa's and Spencer's pumpkins

Caleb's scary pumpkin!

Parker's goofy pumpkin
This year we printed templates for our pumpkins.  After cutting off the top, and scooping out the seeds we attached the templates to the pumpkins with push pins.  Next, use a push pin to poke holes around the outside of the design.  Finally, remove the template and cut out design with a knife.  We decided this is a great method for carving pumpkins, although a little more time consuming than just carving away.

Very cool. Maybe next year we'll do it too.
Please send me a link the site you used--I like how they are great designs but don't have too small details to cut out.
