9 Months

Spencer is now 9 months old.  He is 15 pounds 5 ounces and 27 inches long, so a little on the small side, but he is growing and happy.  He is crawling all over the place, pulling himself around on his tummy.  He will get up on his hands and knees, but when he wants to move forward he gets back down on his tummy.  He has also learned to get back into a sitting position after laying on the ground.  His favorite place to go is under the desk to play with the battery charger.  He likes cords like his daddy.  The kids are good about helping him find baby toys, and Alyssa tries to guard her toys from him.  He likes to eat, and is very happy sitting in his booster seat at the table.  Some of his favorite things to eat are:  bananas, graham crackers, sweet potatoes, applesauce, and ice cream.  He will not drink from a cup or bottle, so sometimes I worry about him getting enough milk, but we will keep working on it.   He waves and says mama.
