Parker has been asking for red shorts for some time. I decided I better hurry and get them done before summer is over. His favorite Lego ninja is Kai, who wears red. Therefore, red has become Parker's favorite color. He likes the shorts, so it is a sewing success.
I used Butterick 5286. I shortened the length of the crotch about 2 inches, because when I have made it in the past it was way too long. I tried to make them long enough that he can wear them again next summer.
