Braces off!

Parker started his orthodontic treatment when he was still 7!  He had an expander on the roof of his mouth, then braces on the top.  His braces were on for about the past 6 months.  He was excited to get them off just 10 days before Halloween! 

He did such a good job with his braces.  He hardly ever complained about them, and was very good at avoiding the candy his orthodontist told him to avoid.  He did have several brackets come off, although we don't know why.  Now he wears his retainer all the time for another few weeks, then hopefully will only have to wear it at night.  The orthodontist informed us that this is phase I, meaning he will probably have a phase II further down the road.
