Good as New
After going through the wash, the batting inside Caleb's comforter ended up in a giant ball. So I opened it up and took the batting out. I determined the batting was still fine, but added a second layer of batting that I had already bought. My mom taught me a new technique for tying this quilt. With the fabric right sides together, I stitched the batting to the fabric leaving an opening to allow me to turn it right side out. I tied the quilt, and then stitched up the opening. Now Caleb has an improved quilt on his bed, and I don't think the batting will end up in a ball again.
