Thanksgiving

We headed to see my parents for Thanksgiving this year. We forgot our camera, but borrowed my parents.
The kids had fun building with the wooden blocks my dad made when I was a kid.
Alyssa likes Ron, the Cabbage Patch doll, and grandma's lamb. She was ready to watch football.
We played at the park right out grandpa's back gate. The boys thought it was warm enough to take their coats off. We got worn out. Parker fell asleep while Caleb was reading to us. My mom also had a little nap, but I did not know if she would really want her napping picture on my blog.

We came home a day later than originally planned due to a snowstorm near our home. When we left the next day the interstate was closed, so we had to take a slight detour, but we made it home safely. Our neighbors even shoveled our foot of snow off our driveway for us. This trip we took audio books for the kids. Caleb especially enjoyed listening to several Junie B. Jones books and her adventures in first grade.
